Earlier this week, a netizen named Rejean Mulo shared her horrific encounter with a taxi driver on Facebook. This time, it wasn’t about a tampered meter or even acts of lasciviousness, but a matter of life-and-death. The victim warned other people of the taxi driver who stole her belongings.The incident occurred in broad daylight last February 25. Aside from taking her bag by force, the victim also sustained multiple minor injuries after being dragged along the road by the taxi driver identified as Renando Catalan. The issue was brought to the attention of tough-as-nails journalist Raffy Tulfo.
During their live confrontation on-air, the traumatized victim couldn’t help but turn emotional after finally facing the man who was responsible for her horrific life-and-death experience.
In the beginning, the taxi driver denied all of the allegations hurled against him, claiming that he couldn’t possibly do the crime because he was playing mahjong at that time. Raffy Tulfo did not buy his excuse and upon further investigation, the taxi driver finally give in.
His smug denial caused the host to shout expletives at him on air. Raffy Tulfo is known for his fierce tirades, and he did not hold back when he apprehended Catalan.
Aside from the taxi driver and his female victim, the taxi operator, Joseph Madrilejos, was also present during the face-to-face with Raffy Tulfo.
According to Madrilejos, Catalan has only been working for two weeks when the incident occurred.
